Ryan Leonardo Santiago, the second eldest son of the veteran actor and comedian Randy Santiago, passed away on Sunday night, August 13, 2017. He was 24.
Relatives and friends from the show business industry sent their condolences to the family, such as Paco Arespacochaga and Angeli Valenciano, wife of singer, songwriter, and actor Gary Valenciano.

Even the X-Factor Filipino edition judge Martin Nievera expressed his sadness over the passing of Ryan. He said in a Facebook comment: “It’s a very sad day.”
The family has yet to disclose any information related to Ryan’s passing. His remains were cremated this morning, and the wake will start at La Salle Greenhills chapel tonight.
In 2015, Ryan was reportedly confined in the intensive care unit and underwent an operation due to a ‘fungal’ virus. Kapamilya actress Claudine Barretto, former spouse of Randy’s brother Raymart, asked for prayers and support. Even Dani Barretto, fashion vlogger and daughter of Marjorie Barretto, also pleaded for more prayers on her Instagram account to heal Ryan whom she considered as her best friend.
