Freddie Roach sinabi na pangarap daw maging Presidente ni Senator Manny Pacquiao.

The majority of Filipinos know just how talented Manny Pacquiao is. His fights inside the boxing ring has earned him countless accolades and world titles which made him recognizable as an international sensation and boxing legend.

Aside from his numerous boxing achievements, Manny Pacquiao aspires to be more which is why he decided to try his luck in politics. Today, Senator Manny Pacquiao is a staunch supporter of the Duterte regime.

Always striving to move up, Manny dreams of holding an even higher position in government. In the past, many of his supporters have suggested that he should run for president. The multiple time boxing champ-turned-senator has remained mum about the issue… until now.

Recently, Manny’s coach Freddie Roach dropped a bombshell regarding Manny’s plans for the future.

In an interview, Roach said that he hopes Manny soon retires, win or lose, after his rematch with Jeff Horn. Roach said:

“I would like to see Manny retire after the rematch with Horn. But I have no control over that. I just think it’s very difficult at that age to get into the ring and face Terence Crawford and talented youngsters like that.”

Roach also said that he wants Manny to focus on politics instead of dividing his attention between boxing and public service.

The coach also mentioned that due to the boxing champ’s changing lifestyle, his “finishing technique” inside the boxing ring has also changed. However, he said that:

“But he improved his technical side at the same time. That’s why I would like to see him fight again with Horn and retire.”

Then, Roach mentioned that Manny Pacquiao dreams of doing something much greater. Roach said:

“But he wants to be president (of the Philippines) and the elections are in four years. So maybe you’ll need to continue boxing to maintain your popularity level.”
